I am a Canadian psychologist registered in the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. I opened my practice in 2009 and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to help various individuals, couples and families live more satisfying lives. In addition to my clinical work, I am an independent researcher and writer – each role bringing depth and breadth to my work.

I received my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary in Canada. In my 40s, I returned to university to expand my research work and make it a staple component of my work portfolio. I am now a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge in the UK and am loving the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of relationality – an interest that has been at the center of my research, writing and clinical work.

Doing what I do has given me many opportunities to look at myself and challenge unconscious ideas, beliefs and parts of myself that may be hard to see. It is the work of continued growth, personal and relational development that I bring to my clinical practice. I often say that my work has changed the way I show up in life and in my most important relationships, especially with my husband and children.

I share my experiences and observations through various forms of creative communications including performance writing. In that sense, working, creating and living are all intertwined in the most intriguing way – And for that I feel most fortunate.
